NYC Artist’s album contains soulful universally relatable songs from the heart

New York City, New York Apr 7, 2024 (Issuewire.com) - Gedalya, the New York City artist known as the Folk Rock Rabbi, today announced that his second album "Waiting for Redemption," is now available for pre-save in advance of its September 1 release. Previously, Gedalya released one single every month, with his full album coming after releasing every song. Gedalya's fans have been waiting to hear the entire album of new songs. He will be posting clips on YouTube and all the socials.

"I've released five EPs since 2018," said Gedalya, who is a singer and songwriter. "My fans are so important to me. I have written new, meaningful songs that evoke simplicity, grace, and universal spiritual life questions."

He explained, "There are 10 songs on Waiting for Redemption, which is the album's title as well as one of the tracks. There are also two remixes on this album, Man of Faith from the 2018 EP and Take Time Out from the EP 2020 Visionary. I felt like remixing because I wanted to give these songs another chance to be heard."

Among the album's highlights are songs like "A Song Was Born," which gives listeners a personal look into Gedalya's life and creative process. The song "In the Passenger Seat" explores life's spiritual journey. "A Troubled Soul" contemplates the burdens that people carry with them. The album's title track, "Waiting for Redemption," is about the soul's longing for redemption.
